Getting to the Durham University Archaeology Department:
Durham is easily reachable by train and served by multiple train routes. From Durham train station (DHM), you can take the bus line X12 towards Middlesbrough bus station from stall H or the 57/57A towards Kelloe Morley Crescent. The stop nearest to the Archaeology Department is Durham University Palatine Centre/Science Site.
Alternatively, the Durham University Science Site is 22 minutes away by foot from Durham train station. Please check google maps for directions.
If you fly into Durham, Newcastle Airport is the nearest airport and well connected. Take the Metro to Newcastle Central Station. There are several trains leaving for Durham per hour. For more information, please visit the National rail website.
